13th Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting – Greeting

Dear Colleague:

This is the final call for papers for the 13th Annual Meeting of the North American Skull Base Society, to be held from Saturday, February 16th through Tuesday, February 19th, 2002 (Presidents Day weekend). In keeping with the tradition of highlighting a certain aspect of our field, we have chosen this year to celebrate Technological Advances in Skull Base Surgery. The beautiful and culturally engaging city of San Diego, with its proximity to Silicon Valley, is a most appropriate location for this event. Please mark your calendar now for this important meeting. Also, please be advised that the pre-meeting workshop is planned for Wednesday, February 13th and Thursday, February 14th and the practical course on Friday, February 15th, 2002. This year a new special international session will be introduced to honor our colleagues from abroad.

I also wish to encourage you to provide any suggestion for the meeting by writing to Mr. Lawrence Leong, the Executive Director or myself. You may wish to visit the NASBS website (www.nasbs.org) where details regarding the meeting will be regularly updated and registration forms can be downloaded. We hope you will participate in the meeting and enjoy the collegial interaction with the pioneers of the modern day skull base surgery.
