NASBS Candidate Information Update

Dear NASBS Candidate Member,

In preparation for the incoming year, all CANDIDATE members are requested to upgrade their membership status to Active once the requirements below are met:

  • Shall have earned a doctorate degree (MD, PhD or equivalent)
  • Shall be board certified or eligible for board certification by a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (or its equivalent)
  • The NASBS bylaws under ARTICLE III, MEMBERSHIP, 3.2.0 Qualifications and Privileges, “Shall undergo a review for election to active membership three years following approval of his or her candidate membership.”
  • Candidate members who have completed their residency or fellowship shall pay full dues and be Upgrade to Active membership in the Society.

If you meet these requirements, your membership status will be upgraded from Candidate to Active status for the 2017 billing year. You will be invoiced at the end of the year in the amount of $300 for 2017 Active Dues.

In addition to all of the NASBS member benefits, you will receive a subscription to the official journal of the society, Journal of Neurological  Surgery Part B: Skull Base as well as opportunities for leadership involvement.

To help us prepare for your status change, please complete the brief questionnaire below by March 15, 2016.
