University of South Florida Complex Cranial Surgery Fellowship

This Fellowship focuses on training neurosurgeons in the management of complex cranial pathologies. The case distribution is about 70/30 tumor/vascular with exposure to clipping of complex aneurysms and EC-IC bypass procedures. Both open and endoscopic approaches are used as necessary for the management of skull base tumors and our lab is equipped with microscopes and endoscopes for simulation training before operating room cases. A rat micro-anastomosis lab is also available to provide the fellow with simulation training for microsurgical skills in end to end and end to side anastomosis.
