V121: ENDOSCOPIC ENDONASAL RESECTION OF SYNCHRONOUS RENAL CELL CARCINOMA METASTASIS AND GIANT PITUITARY NEUROENDOCRINE TUMOR: OPERATIVE VIDEO AND SURGICAL NUANCES
Guilherme Mansur, MD1; Mohammad B Alsavaf, MD1; Moataz D Abouammo, MD, MSc1; Chandrima Biswas, MD1; Pedro F Guimarães, MD2; Ricardo L Carrau, MD1; Daniel M Prevedello, MD1; 1The Ohio State University; 2Hospital de Neurologia Santa Mônica

This video details the endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal resection of a large sellar/suprasellar mass in a 56-year-old male with bilateral blindness. The patient, with a history of renal cell carcinoma, presented with a highly vascular and heterogeneous lesion. Postoperative pathology confirmed the coexistence of metastatic renal cell carcinoma and a gonadotroph Pituitary Neuroendocrine Tumor (PitNET). The video demonstrates the surgical technique, challenges faced due to the lesion's size and high vascularity, and postoperative outcomes.
