| Additional Features of the Fellowship | The neurotology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center features a diverse skull base and otologic surgical experience. We utilize all approaches for vestibular schwannoma surgery including the middle fossa and transpromontory approaches. We also have a busy neurofibromatosis type 2 program and perform about 3-4 auditory brainstem implant surgeries a year. Fellows are trained in advanced transcanal endoscopic ear surgery techniques. |
