Open vs Endoscopic Management of Craniopharyngiomas: Point-Counterpoint

This session will feature a dynamic point-counterpoint discussion on the merits and limitations of open versus endoscopic approaches in the management of craniopharyngiomas. Neurosurgeons, otolaryngologist, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other multi-disciplinary team members involved in skull base tumor care will benefit from expert insights into surgical decision-making, outcomes, and evolving techniques.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Choose surgical approaches for craniopharyngiomas and determine whether an open or endoscopic approach is applicable.
