This session will provide the latest in treatment options for skull base chordomas. This session will cover everything from approach selection to reconstruction and will move through radiation and molecular classification decision making. As such, it is ideal for all specialties, from neurosurgery to otolaryngology, plastic surgery and radiation and medical oncology.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Decide when to consider an open approach for skull base chordoma.
- Plan the best reconstruction option for a clival chordoma resection.
- Predict need for adjuvant treatments such as radiation or even immuno- and chemotherapy.
