Educational Advances in Skull Base Surgery: The Intersection of Technology and Practice

This session will explore innovative approaches and emerging technologies shaping the future of surgical education. This session will highlight the integration of artificial intelligence, advanced training methods, and practical strategies to optimize mentorship and skill development in skull base surgery. Surgeons, educators, trainees, and all interested in refining surgical education and training are encouraged to attend.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Evaluate the integration of advanced technologies—including artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and surgical video editing—into contemporary skull base surgical education.
  • Prepare surgical videos for review and simulation tools to enhance technical skills, self-assessment, and mentorship in complex skull base surgical procedures.
