Skull Base Care Pathway Discussion with NASBS Teams of Distinction
18th February, 2023, 07:30 - 08:30
Tampa Bay 8

To highlight the advantages of care pathways and promote the NASBS iCARE carepath archive, we will have two care pathways presented from NASBS teams of excellence. One will include perioperative pituitary care and the other will review management of skull base meningoencephaloceles with spontaneous CSF leak. Providers interested in understanding the utility, development and implementation of care pathways in their skull base practice should attend.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of developing Care Pathways for management of skull base pathologies.
  • Identify how a care pathway can be applied to an individual patient.
  • Articulate controversies in care related to perioperative pituitary care and skull base meningoencephalocele management.
