A 54-year-old woman presented with a tuberculum sellae meningioma causing right-sided vision loss and tumour growth encroaching on the optic chiasm. Given proximity to the optic apparatus and her desire to avoid fractionated radiation, we offered her a mini pterional craniotomy for endoscopic assisted resection of this tumour. A transcranial endoscopic approach provides a panoramic view with a smaller exposure and craniotomy than would be possible with the microscope. Tumour was complete resected without complications.
