Because of the complex anatomical neurovascular structures in and around the jugular foramen, lesion of this region has always been a challenge for neurosurgeons. In this video, we demonstrated the feasibility and flexibility of retrosigmoid infralabyrinthine approach to achieve total resection of jugular foramen schwannoma with moderate extracranial extension. The approach ensures sufficient exposure of the lesion in the jugular foramen, and bone removal mainly depends on the extension of the lesion.
