P390: ENDOSCOPIC ENDONASAL APPROACH WITH FOR AN ACTH-SECRETING PITUITARY ADENOMA
Byron Hontiveros, MD; Vera Vigo, MD, PhD; Hongwei Yu, MD; Florencia Rodriguez Basili, MD; Peter Hwang, MD; Matei Banu, MD; Juan Carlos Fernandez-Miranda, MD; Stanford University

We present the case of a patient with Cushing disease undergoing an endoscopic endonasal transsellar and parasellar approach for selective adenoma resection. The exposure was extended to the parasellar region to evaluate and resect tumor involvement of the posterior pituitary lobe and adjacent medial wall of the cavernous sinus. Careful dissection allowed complete removal of the adenoma and selective medial wall resection, with successful preservation of surrounding neurovascular structures.
