P363: MICROSURGICAL CLIP LIGATION OF A RECURRENT, PREVIOUSLY RUPTURED AND COIL EMBOLIZED DISTAL PERICALLOSAL ARTERY (A5) ANEURYSM VIA THE INTERHEMISPHERIC APPROACH: DEALING WITH LARGE CALCIFICATIONS ALONG THE SUPERIOR SAGITTAL SINUS
Alexandra Abrams, BS; Armando Bunjaj, BS; Edinson Najera, MD, FCNS; Ralph Rahme, MD, FACS, FCNS; SBH Health System

A 47-year-old woman, hypertensive, heavy smoker, former cocaine user, with a family history of intracranial aneurysms, two previous subarachnoid hemorrhage episodes in the last two years, and multiple intracranial aneurysms, was found to have a 2-mm neck recurrence of a previously ruptured and coiled distal left anterior cerebral artery (ACA) aneurysm. Microsurgical clip ligation of this recurrent aneurysm via the interhemispheric approach was successfully achieved, though complicated by large calcifications along the superior sagittal sinus.
