P411: TRANSORBITAL APPROACH FOR RESECTION OF SPHENOID WING MENINGIOMA
Panayiotis E Pelargos, MD, MD; Christine Ryu, MD; Steven Couch, MD; Dimitrios Mathios, MD; Washington University in St. Louis
A 59-year-old, right-handed female presented with a left sphenoid wing meningioma found to be growing on serial imaging. Given her history of rheumatoid arthritis on immunosuppression and fibromyalgia, a more minimally invasive transorbital approach to tumor resection was selected to decrease the risk of infection and postoperative pain. We present the operative video detailing the approach and technique.
