P391: ENDOSCOPIC ENDONASAL INTRADURAL PITUITARY HEMITRANSPOSITION IN PEDIATRIC RETROINFUNDIBULAR CRANIOPHARYNGIOMA: TECHNICAL NUANCES
Mehdi Khaleghi, MD1; Monirah Albathi, MD, MPH2; Patrick Walz, MD, FAAP2; Daniel M Prevedello, MD1; 1Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center; 2Ohio State University, Nationwide Children Hospital

A transsellar transtubercular transclival approach was performed and dorsum sella was removed. The sellar dura and diaphragm sella were opened following intercavernous sinus ligation. Pituitary ligaments were sharply released at the right side, and the inferior hypophyseal artery was ligated. The pituitary was transposed to the left side, the dural opening was extended, and the tumor was exposed in the retroinfundibular area. Using a combination of sharp dissection and ultrasonic aspirator the tumor was removed.
