P310: SINONASAL MALIGNANCIES WITH METASTASIS TO THE SUBGLOTTIS AND TRACHEA: A CASE SERIES
Zachary K Christian1; Shirley Su2; 1Baylor College of Medicine; 2MD Anderson
Methods: We present four patients with sinonasal malignancies with subglottic and tracheal metastases.
Results:
Case 1: A 62-year-old female with esthesioneuroblastoma with metastasis to the subglottis underwent endoscopic resection with adjuvant chemoradiation. She has been disease-free for 6 months.
Case 2: A 33-year-old female with recurrent sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma (SNUC) underwent multiple endoscopic resections with adjuvant chemoradiation. She received SBRT for a tracheal metastasis, and a total laryngectomy after the tracheal disease recurred. She unfortunately passed 7 months later.
Case 3: A 46-year-old male had an inverted papilloma that transformed to squamous cell carcinoma and metastasized to the subglottis after primary treatment. He was given immunotherapy and remains disease-free for 2 years.
Case 4: A 54-year-old female had a SNUC with metastasis to the subglottis, treated with radiation therapy. She was disease free for 8 years.
Conclusions: Sinonasal malignancies with laryngeal metastases have significant morbidity and mortality.
