Fellowship Program Description: | On behalf of the Neurosurgery Department at LSU Health Shreveport, we are very pleased to invite interested neurosurgery resident graduates from ACGME accredited residency programs to apply for a comprehensive endoscopic and open skull base/complex cranial fellowship. The research component (which takes place concurrently with the clinical duties) will provide the fellow opportunities to perform a combination of anatomic based cadaveric projects and clinical/outcomes/ technique based projects. New project ideas are encouraged. The fellow will be required to be involved in two research projects and will be supported to publish and present this work at national meetings. Our fellow will also oversee a monthly skull base teaching conference and be part of the faculty for any skull base courses held at our institution during their fellowship year. |
