The North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) will be holding its annual Skull Base Surgery Summer Course for Senior Neurosurgery Residents and Head & Neck Fellows on July 18-21, 2019 at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Course agenda includes the following approaches:
- Far Lateral
- Endonasal Ethmoidectomy
- Maxillary Antrostomy
- Endoscopic Transnasal/Transsphenoidal
- Endoscopic Nasal Flap
New this year – demonstration and practice with the ICA Injury Model.
The labs are conducted in pairs of head & neck fellows and neurosurgery residents, building teams of surgeons that represent the essence of the NASBS. This unique educational experience is organized by the North American Skull Base Society and supported through unrestricted educational grants and in-kind industry support.
Registration is $350 and includes course materials, lectures and labs, hotel accommodations*, and meals throughout the course. It also includes transportation to and from the lab as well as transportation to the airport on the final day of labs.
LIMITED SPACE is available (15 for neurosurgery residents and 15 for head & neck fellows) so early registration is encouraged. In addition, all spots must be filled in advance of the course therefore on-site registration will not be available.
