Important Health and Safety Information

The health and safety of our meeting attendees is of paramount importance to NASBS. As part of our commitment to your well-being, all participants planning to attend the in-person meeting in Phoenix, Arizona must be fully vaccinated for COVID, including speakers, guests, and exhibitors.

Requirements Include:

  • Masks will be required at NASBS 2022, and attendees must abide by it in all public settings, except when actively eating or drinking.
  • COVID-19 vaccination will be required of attendees, exhibitors, and guests on site at NASBS 2022. Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine.
  • NASBS 2022 Annual Meeting will be using Health Pass by CLEAR, which provides a secure, digital proof of COVID-related information via the free CLEAR mobile app. We recommend you complete your enrollment and health screening with Health Pass by CLEAR ahead of time for expedited check-in and entry! Further instructions to setup Health Pass by CLEAR can be found here: https://www.nasbs.org/nasbs-2022-annual-meeting-clear-health-pass-details/
  • Attendees will not attend if they have tested positive for COVID-19 within 2 weeks of the NASBS meeting.
  • If you need a COVID-19 test while onsite at NASBS, please visit either of the following sites:
    • The Arizona Department of Health Services to find the closest testing center
    • The Embry Health to find the closest testing center

Membership is based on an interest in skull base surgery and related sciences. Individuals with backgrounds in neurosurgery, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, neuroradiology, otology, neurotology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and others interested in skull base diseases are welcome to apply.

  • Scientific Journal: Active members will receive the official journal of the society, The Journal of Neurological Surgery Part B, a publication that contains peer reviewed original articles, review articles, and position papers. It also presents news and information on an international scope to keep members aware of recent and upcoming events, activities, and evolving developments in skull base surgery. Affiliate, International and Candidate members may subscribe to the journal for $100 annually.
  • Discounted Rates: Members will receive discounted rates to attend the Annual Meeting.
