HOTEL RESERVATION

The Peabody Hotel is located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. Originally built in 1869, it was rebuilt in 1925. Today, this elegant national historic landmark continues to captivate its guests with unqualified luxury and elegance. The Peabody ducks have made the lobby marble fountain their home since the 1930's. The General Manager placed live hunting decoys in the fountain as a joke and started a world-famous tradition that continues to this day. Everyday at 11:00 am, the ducks arrive, marching to their own fanfare on a red carpet to the fountain. At 5:00 pm, they return to their penthouse palace, via the red carpet and personal elevator. A block of rooms with special room rates of $155 single or double occupancy has been set aside for meeting attendees. The deadline for hotel reservation is January 24, 2003. These special rates are available to meeting attendees three days prior to and/or after the meeting in case you need to extend your stay.
