PRE-MEETING COURSES - WORKSHOP

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

This hands-on Workshop will allow the practicing physicians and residents/fellows to explore a variety of surgical approaches to the skull base utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation under the guidance of a distinguished panel of surgeons. Participants will become familiar with the anatomy of the orbit, middle fossa, cavernous sinus, petrous region and foramen magnum. Stations will be equipped with cadaver specimens, high-speed drill systems, operating microscopes and micro-instrumentation. Workshop coordinators include Joseph Zabramski, MD, Daniel R. Peiper, MD and Albert L. Rhoton Jr, MD.
